Silicon Carbide Grinding Disc

Silicon Carbide Grinding Discs from DiamondCore® Tools are great for removing glaze drips, smoothing warped pots, grinding chips and levelling kiln shelf posts and furniture. These come in a 50# for removing heavy materials and 80# grit for smoothing.

DESCRIPTION:

• 300 mm (~12”)-diameter Silicon Carbide Grinding disc
• Peel-and-stick backing for attaching to a dedicated bat
• Use on pottery wheel for grinding capability
• 50# – coarse – removal of heavy material
• 80# – medium – smoothing

USES:

• Removing glaze drips
• Levelling a warped pot
• Grinding a chipped pot “bat grinder”
• Levelling kiln shelf posts and furniture
