Before Hurricane Helene hit WNC, we had been hard at work making updates to our little ribs. What can we say? We’re perfectionists, especially when it comes to the tools we create for you! As you place orders through our website, you’ll notice some exciting—but subtle—changes:

💚Handwritten Text: All new ribs will feature “SHERRILL MUDTOOLS” in our unique handwritten style.
💚Subset Text: All text has been subset so your clay can fill all those nooks and crannies!
💚Made in the USA: We’ve added “USA” to each rib to highlight that our products are proudly made in Western North Carolina.
💚Unique Identification: Each rib now includes the corresponding silhouette shape around the identifying number on the back.

Last week I was able to spend time at the Bukkenburg Studio with David Schlapobersky and tipped my toes into the fountain of knowledge and experience in studio production and reduction firing. Some incredible work and glazes created by him and Felicity, I left inspired and can’t wait to get my hands in clay again.
